AdoptionHistory.org’s Stance Against Child Commodification, Trafficking, and Exploitation: As advocates for the rights and well-being of local and global families, AdoptionHistory.org vehemently opposes child trafficking and the commodification of children within the multi-billion-dollar adoption industry. We strive to set a moral example for industry stakeholders. We do not promote adoption or accept funding from the child market, a demand-driven industry. The acceptance of and receipt of adoption fees commodifies children, permanently separating them from their families, communities, cultures, and countries of birth. We prioritize the inherent, natural, and God-given rights enshrined in universal, international, and state constitutions and declarations. We remain steadfast in upholding children's and families' innate rights and well-being. Thank you for supporting our mission. NOTE: While Billy Graham was not directly involved in the activities of Harry Holt, the intention to proselytize to the world inadvertently contributed to the cultural acceptance of what has become a global child market, contributing to the demand side of a multi-billion-dollar industry.
